| This is Ron Caldwell's RV-6A. He started
building this airplane on February 15, 1996 and completed
it on July 3, 1998. He spent 1,965 hours building it. It
has a Lycoming 0-320 (160hp) engine. He also installed a
Sensenich Fixed Pitch metal propeller. In addition to
standard aircraft instruments, Ron also installed an
AutoPilot and CD Stereo Player. Ron say's his airplane
cruises at about 185 mph at 8,000 ft. The empty weight is
1,080 lbs. This airplane performs very well and he likes
its ability to do "Gentlemen" aerobatics. Ron
